Game 2
SCF Softball erupted offensively and powered past St. Johns River State College, 12–4, behind a relentless lineup that produced runs from nearly every spot.
SCF wasted no time taking control, piling up 14 hits and consistently driving the ball into the gaps. Bree Urban led the way with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, scoring three times and driving in two runs, setting the tone in the heart of the order.
She wasn't alone. Kierstyn Aumua matched her with three hits of her own, adding two RBIs, while Brooke-Lynn Hilderbrand delivered one of the biggest blows of the game—a bases-clearing triple—finishing with four RBIs and two runs scored. The extra-base hit barrage continued throughout the lineup, with six different players recording doubles.
Cailinne Kelly, Jamie Sepsick, and Kaitlyn Shea all contributed RBIs as SCF kept the pressure on inning after inning, turning solid contact into sustained rallies without needing a single walk.
St. Johns River showed patience at the plate, drawing eight walks, and got a strong individual effort from Jenelle Cruz, who went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI, and a run scored. Sarah Stewart and Madison Driggers also drove in runs, helping keep things competitive early.
In the circle, Dava Hoffer navigated some traffic but remained effective, allowing four runs (just two earned) over five innings while striking out four. Despite issuing eight walks, she limited the damage and kept St. Johns River from capitalizing on their opportunities.
Game 3
The Manatees weathered an early power surge from St. Johns River State College and responded with timely hitting and steady pitching to pull out a 4–3 victory.
St. Johns River came out swinging, with all three of its runs coming via the long ball. Jenelle Cruz, Crimson Lawrence, and Carly Dall each connected for solo home runs, giving their team a quick offensive spark and putting pressure on SCF early.
Despite that, SCF stayed composed and answered with a more methodical approach at the plate. Bree Urban delivered the biggest hit for SCF, driving in two runs and finishing 1-for-3, while Kaitlyn Shea added an RBI knock to help even things out.
The lineup chipped in across the board. A'Lana Martinez and Kaylin Smith each reached and scored, while Jamie Sepsick and Kierstyn Aumua added key hits to keep innings alive. SCF didn't overwhelm with power but instead capitalized on opportunities, using seven hits and a few well-timed walks to manufacture runs.
In the circle, Allison Cole battled through 4.2 innings to earn the win, striking out four while giving up three runs—all on solo homers. After a brief appearance from Abigail Hicks, Dava Hoffer came in and shut things down, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings to secure the save and prevent any late comeback.
