Heartland struck first in the opening inning, pushing across a run to take the early lead. SCF didn't wait long to respond. In the bottom of the first, Bree Urban lifted a sacrifice fly to bring in a run, and Jamie Sepsick followed with an RBI single down the right field line to put SCF ahead.
The Manatees kept building from there. Kaylin Smith added to the lead in the second with a single down the left field line to make it 3–1. In the third, Sepsick picked up another RBI with a sacrifice fly, stretching the advantage to 4–1.
SCF broke things open in the sixth when Urban launched a two-run homer to left field, part of the team's late offensive push that helped seal the win.
Allison Cole earned the victory in the circle, allowing two runs on five hits over six innings while striking out three and walking three.
Urban led the middle of the lineup with three RBIs and went 2-for-3 at the plate. Urban, Smith, Sepsick, and A'Lana Martinez each finished with two hits for SCF.
Game 2
Cailinne Kelly fueled an offensive explosion for the Manatees in game 2. Kelly drove in five runs on three hits, leading the charge for SCF. The standout performance included an RBI double in the first inning, a three-run home run to left field in the second, and an RBI single in the third.
Heartland struck first in the opening inning to give the visitors a brief 1–0 lead. SCF quickly responded in the bottom half of the inning, erupting for five runs on five hits to take control of the game. Kierstyn Aumua delivered the biggest swing of the frame, launching a two-run home run to left field as part of the early surge.
SCF continued to add on in the second when Kelly's three-run homer extended the lead. The Manatees broke the game open in the third inning, scoring six runs on six hits. Kaylin Smith highlighted the rally with a three-run double, while Kelly, Bree Urban, and Jamie Sepsick each added RBI singles.
Dava Hoffer earned the win in the circle for SCF, allowing one run on four hits over four innings while striking out two and walking one. Kaitlyn Crouch pitched one inning of relief to help secure the win.
The Manatees finished with 16 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter A'Lana Martinez set the tone with a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate, while Urban and Smith also recorded multiple hits. Defensively, the Manatees were sharp, turning two double plays and committing no errors.
