NJCAA Preseason poll: SCF Softball is ranked #4 in nation

COLORADO SPRINGS, Col.- The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) released the 2013 preseason poll for women's fast pitch softball. The NJCAA has ranked State College of Florida #4 in the Nation. Two Florida juco teams broke the top 10 nationally. Joining SCF is Florida State College-Jacksonville who landed at #5. SCF is coming off of a (50-13) season behind NJCAA All-American pitcher, Paige Mathews. The Manatees were Suncoast Conference Champions, Gulf District/Region 8B champions, and finished in sixth place the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in St. George, UT. SCF Softball also landed the top spot in the FCSAA/Region 8 preseason poll. SCF opens their season 1/25 at noon against Tallahassee Community College.
