Bio
Mathews is a force to be reckoned with on the mound. She throws hard, has movement and the will to win. She helped lead Oviedo High School, Central Florida Sting-Black and SCF Manatees to championships and successful seasons. As a freshman, she was 1st Team Sunocast All-Conference, Suncoast Conference Pitcher of the Year, 1st Team FCSAA All-State, FCSAA State Pitcher of the Year, Gulf District FCSAA State Tournament Team, FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament Co-MVP, NFCA All-Region, NJCAA 1st Team All-American and NJCAA National Tournament Team Selection. She has the heart of a champion, truly loves and respects the sport, and it shows in her performances.
