SCF Softball's Angie Dascoli signs with NCAA Div 1 Kennessaw State University
BRADENTON,Fla- SCF Softball's Angie Dascoli has signed with NCAA Division I Kennesaw State University. The sophomore catcher was a standout player for two years with SCF. Dascoli was two-time Suncoast All-Conference First team selection, 2011 All-State Second Team, and 2012 All-State First Team. She was selected to the FCSAA State Tournament All-District Team and FCSAA All-Tournament Team. As a freshman, she was SCF Rookie of the Year hitting .354 with 3 HR, 14 doubles, and 31 RBIs. In her sophomore season, she was Team MVP starting in 59 games for the Manatees. Dascoli smashed 5 triples, 3 home runs, scored 34 times, and added 34 RBIs. She was a captain who helped lead this year's squad to a Conference Championship, Region 8b Championship and the 2nd National Tournament appearance in school history.
