Laura is a solid catcher with fantastic blocking and framing skills. She brings a confidence and knowledge for pitch calling. She has a good bat, solid arm, and intelligence behind the plate. Her first season with the Manatees resulted in a red shirt due to a collision at the plate. She pushed through with hard work, a great attitude, and supplied comedic relief for the team morale. She is also an excellent outfielder with her strong arm and fearless diving catches.
