Chelsea Wildey, FCSAA Player of the Week, SCF SB claims 2 straight POWs
State College of Florida’s Chelsea Wildey is this week’s FCSAA Softball Player of the Week. Wildey, a freshman from Oviedo, Fla., batted .615 (8-for-13) with four runs scored, one home run (1.154 slugging pct.) and four RBIs in four games. Wildey recorded two hits, including a double, and scored a run in each of the four games – Suncoast Conference doubleheaders against Polk State and Hillsborough. In game one against Polk State on March 27, she drove in a pair of runs. Two days later, in game one against Hillsborough, she smacked her first collegiate home run.
