Bio
Chelsea is returning to SCF’s pitching staff as a starter. She came from Sickles HS in Tampa, FL where she was 13-3 her senior year. She also threw a perfect game against Venice HS in an eight-inning 5A quarterfinal game. Chelsea brings a calm and controlled mound-presence as well as a full array of pitches. She developed in to an unstoppable force during her first college season in 2011. Oglevie pitched her way through 149.67 innings, 16 wins, and 87 strikeouts. She pitched the Manatees to more than 50% of the team’s wins in 2011. This earned her Suncoast Conference First-Team honors, the SCF Pitcher of the Year Award, and unanimous voting to become a team captain. Chelsea’s excellence continues in the classroom as well. She currently has 3.9 GPA.
