Bio
Angie is a talented ballplayer and an exceptional hitter. Last year, she started in the outfield before becoming the catcher for the Manatees. SCF Softball counted on her home-run power as a leader in run production for the 2011 season. She is a tremendous leader behind the plate as well. Pitchers have full confidence in her choices. She is smart and continues to learn to become the best. For the spring season of 2011, Dascoli hit .354, with 14 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs and 31 RBIS. She accomplished this in 175 at bats while only striking out a total of 5 times. She earned Suncoast First Team All-Conference and FSCAA Second Team All-State honors. She was SCF Softball’s 2011 Rookie of the Year and voted by her peers to be team captain for 2011-12.
