Brendon Little Named NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week

Bradenton, Fla – State College Florida’s Brendon Little was named as the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 27-April 2. 

In his only appearance of the voting period, Little was impressive.  Against Suncoast Conference foe, South Florida State College, he pitched eight innings and allowed just one run.  The left-hander struck out the last eight batters he faced in route to a 15 strike out game.
Little was 1-0 on the week with a 1.13 ERA.  On the season, Brendon Little is 2-2 with a 2.29 ERA.  He has earned 86 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched.  This is equivalent to 14.09 strikeouts per nine innings pitched.
Brendon Little returns to the mound Wednesday April 5th as the Manatees face the Buccaneers of Florida SouthWestern State College.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
