SCF Baseball takes game 2 against FSC-J with walk-off hit by Julian Santos
BRADENTON, Fla.- SCF Baseball took game two of a three game home stand with Florida State College- Jacksonville. The Manatees won 2-1 with a two-out bases loaded single up the middle. The score was tied 1-1 until the bottom of the 9th. Casey Mulholland started for SCF and pitched 7 strong innings, allowing only 4 hits and struck out 6. Devon Raftery entered the game in the top of the 9th with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out for FSCJ and struck out 2 batters to end the threat. Julian Santos and Andrew Widell each had 2 hits and sophomore Conner Hale had an RBI single. SCF improves to 8-4 on the season.
