SCF Baseball's Wynn Field is 2011-2012 ABCA Collegiate Field of the Year

The American Baseball Coaches' Association selected SCF Baseball's Robert C. Wynn Field as the 2011-2012 Field of the Year. SCF groundskeeper, Gary Lewis (center), is presented a certificate from SCF facilities department and members of the 2012 SCF baseball team.

BRADENTON,FL- The SCF Baseball field was selected as the 2011 American Baseball Coaches' Assoication (ABCA) Collegiate Field of the Year. The honor was announced this past fall and was presented at the ABCA convention in Anaheim on January 7, 2012


Robert C. Wynn field has undergone many levels of improvements over the field's history. This included a major renovation during the 2010-2011 school year. These improvements included a new gate entrance, net back stop, brick kneewall, parking lot, batters' eye, palm trees and new foliage around the complex.
