7th staight win makes SCF (2-0) in conference play

BRADENTON, Fla. - SCF defeated Polk State College 3-2 as starting pitcher Evin Lynch picked up the win, throwing 7 innings.  Josh Russell threw a scoreless 8th inning while Devin Raftery pitched a perfect 9th inning to pick up his 8th save of the season.  
After spotting Polk two runs in the top of the 1st inning, SCF rallied with three runs in the 6th inning on a leadoff single by Andrew Widell.  The rally continued with a double by Josh Allen, a two-run double by Orlando Rivera and an RBI single by Connor Hale.  Rivera had three hits to lead the offense.
