SCF baseball opens conference play with 1-0 win over Polk State College
WINTER HAVEN, Fla.- SCF opened up conference play with a hard fought 1-0 victory against Polk State College. Starting pitcher Dayan Rodriguez threw an outstanding game, tossing 7.2 innings allowing only five hits while walking none and striking out six. Devin Raftery threw the final 1.1 innings to pick up the win as SCF scored in the top of the 9th on an RBI single by Danny Bodziak.
